Syndication Services

Pitch Blue Distribution Platform

GDMX with its partners have created, developed and deployed a new long form content distribution platform called PitchBlue. This platform is the next generation in long form content, store and forward, multicast distribution and is designed to provide a cost-effective, optimized and streamlined platform for broadcast syndicated programming for North American broadcast stations.

Through utilization of advanced compression techniques, increased storage capacity and optimized transmission technologies, PitchBlue is able to provide many benefits to both Content Providers and Broadcast Stations at a critical time in the adoption of HD.

Among the benefits:

  • Streamlined distribution of content by delivering both HD and SD versions in a single transmission
  • The ability to deliver twice as much content as previous store and forward technology
  • Dynamic Proof of Delivery reporting
  • Open architecture that eliminates reliance on proprietary equipment and license fees
  • The ability to automatically record multiple concurrent feeds
  • Once received, files can be played out, transferred or transcoded according to station dictated schedule and workflow
  • An automated Format Sheet building tool that creates format sheets based on Air Schedule and Title List information stored in the Pitch Blue system
  • Interfaces with Ad Sales software programs such as Deal Maker
  • Text messaging
